Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow
Locality Connectors are people who connect vulnerable children and their families in their local community with activities and organisations that can help improve their quality of life and wellbeing. This can include providing information, insight and guidance to CFE Locality Teams on what services, groups, networks and activities are available locally and across the county which may assist children, young people and their families in maintaining independent lives, and which help prevent their circumstances deteriorating further or in future to a point where they might need higher level of specialist support. The Locality Connector will also support and assist community groups and networks to develop new activities and/or maintain existing activities through, for example, brokering and negotiating support from partner organisations and agencies.
Northamptonshire County Council have recruited six staff into these exciting new roles funded through the Transformation Project. Four members of the team came into post on the 3rd September, Sara joined the team on the 24th September and we give a warm welcome to:-
